Hello, and thank you for taking your first giant step towards healing from grief.
Here you will find information on our Shining Light Grief Retreats.
A retreat is an opportunity to completely immerse yourself in healing with no
distraction, in a relaxing, supportive and positively charged atmosphere with
others who are in different stages of grief themselves. Obviously, the longer of
the retreats are more intensive and productive to start you in your healing
process, but the most important thing is to get the help, no matter how long
or short. A one day retreat can be quite healing, and can be followed by other
retreats or support.
Retreats are open to all adults, men, women, couples, friends or groups.
Women's and special groups can be accommodated for topical retreats (child
loss, widows, etc)upon request.
Everyone who attends a retreat will receive a 5% discount on future retreats.
Any time you sign up for a retreat with a friend, you both receive a 5%
discount!
Day retreats are being scheduled based on need and group size.

-We work on a buddy system due to the emotional content of our retreats and
our tendency as grievers to isolate. All rooms are double occupancy, no
exceptions. If there is an odd number of guests, there is a three bed suite
available.
-We request that all members refrain from any alcohol usage during any retreat
function, as alcohol is a depressant and is counterproductive in our goal to heal.
-Plane and other travel fare and rental cars are not included in our pricing,
however, a car service is. We will get you to and from Fort Lauderdale Airport
at no extra cost. There will, however, be an extra charge if guests fly in or out
of Miami or WPB airports.
*Scheduled spa treatments – guests will sign up on the first day for their type
of treatment and day/time. All guests will have ONE prepaid spa treatment,
unless they independently schedule one during their free time on their own.
**Guests will also sign up the first day for one-on-one sessions.
They will each have ONE guaranteed one-on-one during their stay. Facilitators
will be on the grounds, so there will be many opportunities during free and spa
times to talk away from the group.
